In the Optima system, the single elements of which the door frame are composed (uprights with or without rabbet, crossrails and plinth) are supplied in 2.2 or 3 metre long bars that are machined subsequently. This optimises warehouse stock because there is no need to purchase doors of various widths because they will be machined after they have been sold. The door mouldings are made of solid strip wood to increase the quality and resistance of the product. Thanks to the 90° joints of the frame and to the varying thickness of the uprights and of the crossrails, the Optima system does not require counter-moulding machining.
